United States
Developed a web-based journey management program for a U.S. Fortune 600 international corporation to provide travelers with vital information during trip planning and to allow management to track and assist travelers as required. The program was multi-faceted and covered security, medical, transportation, and administrative travel related issues. The program was designed to pertain not only to employees, but also to those contractors for whom the company accepted a direct responsibility.
Response to the program from both management and travelers was very positive. Travelers particularly liked it as it proved to be a “one-stop shop” for their international travel needs. Management gained peace of mind and better fiscal control of travel. Usage of the website quickly became habitual and compliance with published travel procedures reached 90% within only a few months.
